    Aspirations to strengthen commercial relations after the visit of the Asharqia Chamber Council delegation to Qatar​


    The delegation of the Asharqia Chamber Board of Directors, headed by the Chairman of the Board, Badr bin Sulaiman Al-Raziza, concluded a visit to the sisterly State of Qatar, which discussed strengthening trade exchanges between the two countries and achieving common aspirations in the economic sector.

    Yesterday, Monday, September 20, 2022, the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the State of Qatar, Prince Mansour bin Khalid bin Farhan, received the Chamber’s delegation, where he stressed the wise leadership’s support for programs aimed at strengthening economic and social relations between the two countries. He also urged the importance of establishing commercial partnerships between the business sector and benefiting from the aspects of support provided by the Kingdom and Qatar within their vision 2030, which emphasizes the development and economic integration.

    ​As part of the second day's program, the delegation visited Hamad Port, where it met the CEO of Ports of Qatar, Captain Abdullah Al-Khanji, and was briefed on the port's facilities and stages of development, in addition to the facilities it provides to the business sector.

      The delegation also met the Director of Facilities Management at Al Janoub Stadium in Al Wakra, Eng. Abdulaziz Ali Al Ishaq, visited the stadium’s facilities and facilities and was briefed on the preparations in place for the start of the 2022 World Cup.
    At the end of the visit, Al-Raziza explained that the delegation's visit to Qatar achieved its goals, as the delegation visited the most prominent economic entities and reviewed the most important incentives and facilities that encourage the business sector to invest and form partnerships to enhance trade exchanges between the two countries.

    Al-Raziza explained that the delegation was keen to strengthen commercial partnerships with the business sector in Qatar and exchange experiences in implementing new projects that represent a qualitative leap, whether in the commercial or industrial sector and sustainability initiatives.​
    He noted the keenness of the business sector in the two brotherly countries to continue work and partnerships, noting that the two peoples are linked by brotherhood and blood and proceed from this principle, stressing that creating ideas will lead to innovative projects that contribute to the development of the economic sector in the two countries.
    The delegation started its program of visits on Saturday, September 18, 2022, to the Salwa border port between the Kingdom and Qatar, and was briefed on the achievements of the development and expansion project at the port. The Board of Directors of the Qatar Chamber Mohammed bin Towar Al-Kuwari and several members of the Board of Directors in the two chambers discussed ways to enhance economic cooperation relations in the two countries.​
